The new crew of the Jefferson head out on their first assignment. With the signing of peace with the Klingons, the Federation and the Klingons have agreed to disassemble space stations along their shared borders. But the crew of one of these space stations destined to be taken apart has failed to report in. The USS Lazarus has been sent to investigate but that ship too hasn't reported in.
